Best Practices for Microphone Setup
- Check before clicking “Allow”. When the permission prompt appears, always verify your microphone selection in the dropdown menu before granting access.
- Use your built-in microphone as default. Unless you specifically want to use an external device, your device’s built-in mic is usually the most reliable option.
- Test before important sessions. Start a quick practice roleplay to confirm your microphone is working properly.
- Disconnect unused Bluetooth devices. If you have AirPods or other wireless audio devices nearby, your system may automatically route audio to them instead of your preferred microphone.
✅ In short: If the AI can’t hear you, check the microphone icon in your browser’s address bar, select the correct input device, and make sure permissions are granted. Reset and refresh if issues persist.
