When to Import a Rubric
You may want to import a rubric when:- You like the existing evaluation criteria but want to standardize scoring
- You want to reuse a rubric across multiple roleplays
- Your organization has approved rubrics for specific skills or behaviors
- You want consistent grading across learners and scenarios
Prerequisites
Rubric exists
The rubric you want to use must already exist in your workspace
You must have editing access to the roleplay
Step 1: Open Evaluation Criteria

- Open the custom roleplay you want to update.
- Navigate to the Evaluation Criteria section.
- Confirm that you have editing access (editing controls will be visible)
- Click Edit
Step 2: Decide How to Handle Existing Criteria
Before importing, choose how you want to handle the current evaluation criteria:Option A: Replace Existing Criteria

If you want the imported rubric to be the only evaluation framework: Clear or remove all existing evaluation criteria first.
Option B: Add to Existing Criteria
Option B: Add to Existing Criteria
If you want to keep the current criteria: Leave them as-is and proceed with importing the rubric.
Step 3: Import a Rubric

- After clicking Edit in the top-right corner, click the Import option in the evaluation criteria section.
- Use the search field to find the rubric you want to import.
- Select the rubric.
Step 4: Preview and Select Rubric Categories

- Preview the rubric to see all available categories.
- Choose which categories you want to include:
- Select all categories, or
- Include only specific criteria relevant to this roleplay.
- Click Add to Scenario.
Step 5: Review Imported Evaluation Criteria
After importing:- The selected evaluation criteria will appear in the roleplay.
- Each criterion will be added exactly as defined in the rubric.

- Review scoring definitions
- Make edits to the rubric if needed (with appropriate permissions)
